Devotion, Chosen by the Kara, book 5. Loved it!, a great series arc wrap up. Okil finally gets his story! Loved Okil, he has been a strong support character throughout the series. A friend to the Earth females as well as to Earth in general. He had to make some hard choiced, which really showed the type of man he is. Tikki has done a lot of growing up since the first book, I largely think due to Okil's influance. She is a worthy mate for him. Darl and Reja are mated as well, hopefully the next arc will give them a bit of a story. A great reas, steamy. Loofing forward to the next arc of the series.Product details

What a great series of books...can't wait for the next one!
I agree with the other reviewer who gave 3 stars. I LOVE this series! I have been "crazy" about Okil & Tiki since they are introduced in an earlier book. I soooo looked forward to Okil's story. However, I did not have the connection to Okil & Tiki that I had started to develop in the earlier story.
Although, I liked the story and the characters I did not connect with them to the same degree that I did the characters from other books in this series. I think it may be due to the fact that we did not really learn how their relationship developed.
If you have read all the books in the series, we know how & when Okil & Tiki met each other (in an earlier story) and how they came to live on Karal (the story in THIS book) but how did their relationship really develop? I felt like I missed a part of their story. Ms. Raines is very good writer and I truly enjoy her work. I will continue to read her stories. This story is enjoyable. I do recommend it. However, for those individuals, like myself, who developed a "crush" on Okil earlier in the series.....I just felt like a missed something. Who knows, maybe Ms Raines will go back and add a bit more to this story so we really get to know Okil and Tiki a bit better.
I started with book one then after that I couldn't stop I had to read them all . Each book had me from beginning to end. Can't wait to read more of the Karal ! There sexy there strong this is a must read series !
I really enjoyed this series. These books are really well written and holds your attention from beginning to end. You won't be sorry for starting this series. Anxiously waiting for your new series and keep them coming.
I liked this installment least of the four stories I read. Chosen by the Karal's first three stories were much better and more interesting. I did liked the series for the way they depicted the Earth and how humans have abused it, and how corrupt our government officials had become in the tale's foreseen future. I don't think I connected well with the woman in this book.
I really enjoyed this one. Okil is my favorite and I was so glad that he and Tiki made it to Karal. I liked the suspense in this one as the plot unfolded. I was glad that the Doc finally got his mate as well. Now I look forward to the Warriors getting their women. I really enjoy this series and would recommend that it is read in order to get the full Karal experience.

So now I have to try to rewrite it. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these stories and this one was just as good! The author has written another series that is a take off from this one. We will see if it is as good as this series!
